Permanent Appointment to Teachers & Work Supervisors

The ceremony of providing permanent appointment letters to the 161 Teachers of the National College of Education, 343 Teacher Assistants and 56 Work Supervisors was held on 9th of May 2015 at the Auditorium of the Jaffna National College of Education, Kopay.

The Chairman of Northern Provincial Council CVK Sivagnanam participated as Chief Guest. Minister of Education T.Gurukularajah participated as Special Guest.

The Work Supervisors, who had been working as contract basis more than 180 days under the Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs received their appointment letters. Chief Guest and other guests issued appointment letters to 560 employees.

Northern Provincial Councilors R.Inthirarajah, V.Sivayogan, A.Paramsothy, E.Arnorld, B.Kajatheeban, Secretary to the Governor, Secretary of Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs, Provincial Director of Education - Northern Province, President of Jaffna College of Education, Zonal Directors of Education and staffs also participated in this occasion.
