Issuing appointment letters to Graduate Teachers and Teacher Assistants who have completed their Teachers’ Training Colleges – 2017
549 Graduate Teachers and 480 Teacher Assistants have been received their appointment letters on 13th of March, 2017 at the Conference hall of the J/Hindu Ladies’ College, Jaffna at 10.00 a.m.
These 549 Graduates have been selected in the interview with practical test which was held on 16th – 18th January 2017.for the recruitment of Tamil, Geography, History, Civics, Agriculture, Information Technology, Counselling & Media Studies subjects.
480 teacher assistants who have just completed their Diploma Programme at the Teachers’ Training Colleges, received their appointment letters for recruitment of teacher Grade 3-I(B)
The appointment letters were ceremonially issued by the Hon. C.V.K Sivagnanam, Chairman of the Northern Provincial Council, Hon T. Gurukularajah- Minister of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs of the Northern Province, Hon. Members of Northern Provincial Council, Mr. A. Pathinathan, Chief Secretary, NP, Mrs. Rubini V. Secretary of the Provincial Public Service Commission, Mr. L. Illangovan, Secretary to the Governor and Mr. R.Raveenthiran- Secretary of the Minister of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs and Provincial Director of Education, Zonal Directors of Education and other officers of the Ministry and Department were also participated in this event.
