Prize Giving of Sivapathakalaiyagam G.T.M.S, Kilinochchi was held on 21st September 2017
The annual prize giving ceremony of the Kilinochchi Sivapathakalaiyagam G.T.M.S was held at the school auditorium on 21.09.2017. Honourable Minister of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs Dr. Kandiah Sarveswaran participated in this event as Chief Guest. This event was started with Chairperson of Mrs. Parameswary Sothilingam, Principal of the school and Mrs.T.Mathuranayagam, Assistant Director of Education (Tamil)-Kilinochchi Zone, Mr. Amirthalingam, Divisional Education Officer-Karaichchi, parents, and many people attended this event.
This was the first time that a prize giving ceremony was held since the year 1982 when it was established and this is a milestone in the history of the school. The students received the best results in school level, provincial level, national level public examinations and competitions and were honoured with the prizes awarded by the Chief Guest. After the price giving ceremony, many cultural events has been organized, and students have performed well.
