The 4th Provincial Education Development meeting was held on 10th September 2015 at 9.30 a.m at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs, NP. Mr. R. Raveenthiran, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs of the Northern Province preside the meeting.
The Provincial Director of Education Mr.S.Uthayakumar, Additional Provincial Directors of Education, Zonal Directors of Education, Accountants, Deputy Directors of Education, Assistant Directors of Education, Director of School Works, School Work Engineer, Inspectors of School Works, Technical Officers, & other staff from Ministry and Department of Education were participated in the meeting.
The following matters were discussed at the meeting.
- Annual Development Programmes 2015(PSDG, CBG, TSEP, ChildFund, Unicef, etc)
- Administration maters(Promotions, Absorptions, Personal file, Transfers, Transfer policies, appointments, cadre, non-educational cadre & others)
- Development & Management matters(General Examination, eLession, Term examinations, health issues & others)
- Accounts matters (Fund handling – Unicef & TSEP, Recurrent expenditures, Capital expenditures, Salary arrears- Principal & Teachers, Loans & others)
