Colours Night 2015
The Northern Provincial Colours Night that recognizes sports talents of the men and women in Northern Province had it in a glittering ceremony, held at J/Nelliyadi Central College on 30th December 2015 evening.
During the event, three hundred men and women received awards and certificates, appreciative of their talents and reputation brought to the Northern Province in the field of Cricket, Kabbadi, Basketball, Physical display,Football, Netball and in athletics.
The Honourable Chief Minister graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Hon. Chairman of Provincia Council Mr. Kandiya Sivagnanam, Hon Member of Northern Provincial Council Mr. E. Arnold & Mr. S. Ahilathas as Guest of Honours. Secretary to the Ministry of Education Mr.R.Raveenthiran, Divisional Secretary, Cheddikulam, Provincial Director of Education and other relevant officials also participated at this ceremony. Provincial Director of Sports Mr. R.Guruparan presided over the ceremony.
The gathering applauded as the names of the recipients were announced to receive their colours from the distinguished invitees.
