CEREMONIAL OPENING OF ADVANCED e-LEARNING UNIT OF TRILINGUAL LEARNING CENTRE 

Advanced e-Learning Unit of the Trilingual Learning Centre of the Ministry of Education (NP) was ceremonially opened by His Excellency the High Commissioner for Australia in Sri Lanka Mr. Bryce Hutchesson on 16.03.2016   the inauguration Started at 4.00pm.

Senior officers of Asia Foundation Mrs.Dinesha de Silva (Country Representative), Dr.Goba Kumar Thambi (Director, Strengthening Northern Provincial Council Program) Mr.A.Subhakaran (Senior Technical Consultant) and some officers from the High Commission of Australia and The Asia Foundation also Participated in this inauguration. Hon. Chairman of the Northern Provincial Council Mr. C.V.K. Sivaganam also graced this inauguration.

Presentation of “Strengthening Northern Provincial Council (SNPC)” Program implemented by The Asia Foundation in partnership with the Northern Provincial Council and funded by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia took Place. The Presentation was a very detailed one and shed Light on various   aspects.

Some Legal Publications to strengthen the legislative Capacity of Northern Provincial Council were ceremonially handed over to Hon. Chairman of the Northern Provincial Council by His Excellency the High Commissioner for Australia in Sri Lanka. 

Ministry of Education officers, Resource Persons and students of the Trilingual Learning Centre and staff officers from the Ministry of Education and many academics and well-wishers took part enthusiastically in this event.​
