The World Bank Team 2016 Fourth Round Provincial Visit to review the TSEP progress 11th - 12th August 2016

The World Bank along with Operations and Monitoring Support Unit (OMSU) for the Transforming the School Education System as the Foundation of a Knowledge Hub Project (TSEP) visited to the Northern Province to review the project progress from 11^th  and 12^th  August 2016.

A meeting to review the progress of the project was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of Northern Province A. Pathinathan on 12^th August 2016 at Ministry’s Conference Hall, Nallur. Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs R.Raveenthiran, Deputy Chief Secretary - Planning R. Umakanthan, Provincial Director of Education S.Uthayakumar as well as Director School Works, School Works Engineer, Zonal Directors of Education, Deputy Directors of Education, and Assistant Directors of Education also participated.

In this meeting, the construction work progress, procurement, training details are discussed with the observations and remarks which were identified by World Bank in their visit to Mannar Zone on 11^th August 2016.
